What counts as an event?
An event is a single JSON payload sent to the ingestion endpoint — one user click, one API call, one background job completion. Batch requests count each object in the array as one event. Internal system events generated by Kingsley Co's own anomaly detection and alerting engine do not count toward your monthly quota.
Can I trial the platform before paying?
Yes. Every new account receives a 14-day free trial with Growth-level access — all features, all connectors, no credit card required. At the end of 14 days your workspace is automatically downgraded to Starter unless you choose a paid plan. Your data is retained for 30 days after a trial expires so nothing is lost during an evaluation.
Are there volume discounts above Enterprise?
Yes. If your event volume consistently exceeds 1 billion per month, contact our sales team for a custom quote. Large-volume contracts are priced per billion events with committed-use discounts available on annual prepay. We have served customers at 10 billion events per month on custom arrangements.
How does annual billing work?
Annual plans are invoiced upfront and carry a 20% discount versus the equivalent monthly rate. A VAT invoice issued to your registered company address is available immediately on payment. Irish customers are billed with Irish VAT at the current standard rate; EU business customers outside Ireland may supply their VAT number to qualify for the reverse-charge mechanism.
